Cabot Trail Motel management and employee team are committed to keeping you safe during your stay with us. Please rest assured that we are following the most up-to-date provincial and federal COVID safety protocols. Our team is trained in the “Clean Right” program and we take pride knowing that your health and safety comes first!

Our team is trained in the “Clean Right” program.

All disinfecting products used are approved by Health Canada.

Cleaning schedules are in place for all common and high-traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, counters, telephones, and guest seating.

If a team member exhibits symptoms or contracts COVID 19, they will immediately self isolate and follow mandated Provincial protocols.

Hand-sanitizing stations are located in all guest areas throughout the property.

Payment terminals are wiped down after each use; guests are encouraged to use debit/credit cards as method of payment on property.

Physical distancing is required for our team members when not wearing PPE.

front desk operations

Barriers are in place.

Front desk employees perform hand hygiene between every guest transaction.

Upon check out, guests will be required to drop their key in the key box; keys will be sanitized before reuse.

Social distancing of 6 feet is practiced in the front desk area and throughout other guest common areas.

Face masks must be worn at all times unless seated in the dining room while eating or drinking.                                                

We ask that you DO NOT enter the front desk area if you are feeling unwell.

If there are more than two guests at reception, please do not enter until the entrance is cleared.

Please use hand sanitizer as soon as you enter the front desk area.

guest rooms & housekeeping operations

All guest amenities such as soap and shampoo will be single use, personal-sized items.

Coffee machines will be provided upon request only.

Housekeeping team members will be equipped with the appropriate PPE while implementing additional cleaning measures.

Guest room cleaning during your stay will be upon request only.

Garbage will be collected daily.

Towels can be bagged and left outside your room;  fresh linen will be left by you door.

Maintenance repairs will be performed  when guests are not present in the room; if the repair required does not allow this, special attention will be paid to social distancing measures.

All food and beverage team members will be equipped with PPE and diligently practice hand washing and/or sanitation between each guest transaction.

We encourage debit/credit/room charge as the method of payment.

Payment terminals are sanitized frequently.

Payment terminals are equipped with tap function and are sanitized after each transaction.

All guest table settings will be prepared by employees wearing PPE and practicing safe and sanitary measures.

Table settings will be brought as the table is seated.

All culinary team members will continue to practice safe food handling and take extra precaution regarding close working quarters and disinfecting surfaces.

Surface sanitizers being used are hospital-grade and approved for use against COVID-19.
